Where did the time go? How can my baby be 2 months old ALREADY? 2 months ago we welcomed Little Miss Megan into our lives and she has taken over all of our hearts.
WE LOVE YOU MEGAN JANELL!!
Megan has her 2 month check up on Tuesday and I will post what she's been up to and stats then.
This afternoon following bath time, Momma attempted a photo shoot with Little Miss Megan. I think that it went pretty well considering I was running on 3 hours of sleep, have no formal training, and am currently covered in spit-up in varying degrees of drying. I know, GLAMOROUS!!
The reason for this impromptu shoot was the light blue blanket that Megan is sitting on. Recently, I have taken up crocheting blankets for Project Linus. If you don't know anything about them, it is an organization that collects blankets for children of varying ages to be distributed during times of need. This gives these children something soft and snugly to take with them wherever their situation may lead. Since I am going to be donating this blanket soon, I just had to take some photos of my baby with it.
8 weeks ago at 3pm the Stormes Story changed forever. Megan is the best thing that ever happened to us and we can't believe that she has only been here 8 weeks, it seems like she has been in our lives and hearts forever.
Today Little Miss Megan acquired a new skill and with it a new outlook on the world. Megan sat for the first time in her Bumbo seat!! She thought that it was GREAT. She got a big smile on her face and looked around at everything. She is getting to be such a big girl, I can't believe that she will be 2 months old next week. I don't want her to grow up too fast, but look forward to what the future brings for Megan and our little family.
What to say about me...I'm a happily married, Momma, and registered nurse who lives in the great cheese state of WI. I have been married for 7 years and after a year of trying, a MC, and trying again we are overjoyed to be parents to Megan Janell Stormes born on 12-28-09. This blog is my way of communicating with friends and family, as well as sharing joys and working through the tough times.
